Experimental Laboratory : Earth & Local Resources

ENFF  |  Escola Nacional Florestan Fernandes

São Paulo, Brazil, 2025

« What can we do with the materials found beneath our feet and around us ? »

Participants are then invited to carry out a series of investigations and tests to better understand the nature of these materials and their interactions, with the goal of formulating new materials.

This workshop, deeply rooted in the location where it takes place, acts as an experimental laboratory guiding participants from surveying local materials through a walk across the territory to setting up the laboratory.

The workshop encourages observation, touch, research and experimentation, opening participants’ eyes to local materials and knowledge while sparking curiosity about the surrounding territory.

Workshop designed and facilitated by Angele Keserwany in collaboration with MST (Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra)

at the Escola Nacional Florestan Fernandes - ENFF.
