Earth Construction & the Transmission of Know-How
The Sun & Earth Festival is a celebration of low-carbon, eco-responsive and regenerative architecture for a carbon-neutral Ladakh. Curated by the School of Eco-Responsive Architecture and the School of Energy Studies at HIAL, this festival continues the rich legacy of solar-heated mud housing in Ladakh. By embracing nature's elements—the sun and earth , the festival brings together traditional wisdom and modern innovations to promote sustainable building solutions that address the challenges of climate change.
